JENAM is the Joint European and National Astronomy Meeting organised each year in one of the European countries jointly by the European Astronomical Society and one of the national astronomical societies. JENAM 2010 will take place in Lisbon, Portugal during the week of September 6-10 2010. It will be the 18th Annual Meeting of the European Astronomical Society and the 20th Annual Portuguese Meeting of Astronomy and Astrophysics.
 
We believe that an exciting event, spanning front line topics in Astronomy and Space Sciences and technologies, will be taking place in Lisbon (Portugal) on the week of 6-10 September. A note about internet access during JENAM 2010:  Wireless internet access can be a frustrating experience in conferences. We are doing our best to provide the best service we can. For that, we have hired a service which we hope will provide a painless wireless connection plus a room with several terminals.

However, since the meeting is at the University of Lisbon, the wireless EDUROAM service is also available and has proved to be able to support the load of several hundred machines (something the hired service is not). We therefore encourage all participants coming from European Universities, which in general have the EDUROAM service, to setup your local EDUROAM accounts and use them at JENAM 2010. Please contact the sysadmins at your Universities for help.
